actually i hid my other comment maybe Enne can be involved in his teacher's death. obviously in a good way as he loves her almost like an aunt.
Also he may fit into whatever plot idea you had. One he is considered a good omen from his birth and so wishes to be close with Gaelach. two he grew up equally in the caverns and outside forests so your mentionings of the shamans and the outside he may be a good contender to help with that
