Oakfern Fawn for Adoption :D - WINNER ANNOUNCED

Thank you so much to everyone who entered! The applications were all awesome. It was a tough decision, but this little Biscuit is going to be played by the lovely Howl-n-Hart!  

So, you may have noticed that Berach and Lineera are having a baby for not-very-good reasons. And guess what? I want someone else to play that baby!

What do you need to know?

At the moment, Linna is essentially suffering from a prolonged and very serious case of post-natal depression. Having another baby will not help. She will be obsessively possessive of this fawn, and will be extremely unwilling to let the baby out of her sight. How this little lad reacts to that is entirely up to you - but it does mean you have to RP with me a lot

The baby will not know much about their father. Linna isn’t really bothered about that. If baby gets curious later in life, she will probably talk to them about it.

Linna is currently hanging around with the lovely Crowe and her magical, Gealach worshipping pals. This baby has been rolled as a baby adept, so will probably be well liked by the powerful magic users they will be most often in contact with!

This baby is lovingly known as Biscuit. This isn't an essential piece of information, you just should probably be aware of it

What do you need to do?

• Put together either an RP or a character profile for the baby. I’d love to see both art and literature - you don’t have to do both but if you're only doing one, make sure it's literature
• Don’t submit it to the fawnlings group - remember he’s not born until November 19th - instead send a note to me with a link to your application - I’ll list the current applications on this journal
• To give yourself the best chance, make sure you read all the key information, make sure you read at least some of Linna’s recent RPs and make sure you understand Oakfern and know about the recent appearance of a messiah

Name

The name is up to you! However, I would ask that it is related in some way to the name Iskanisk, preferably with some part of either Berach or Lineera involved. Why? Linna knows that baby will not know its father. In her deluded way, she thinks giving it a name related to its grandfather (who she has no reason to believe is dead - remember, she survived out in the open for 2 years and only Berach ever saw Isk’s skull!) might give it more connection to its family.

I’ve got a few suggested names below, but please feel free to come up with your own!

  Literature Auction Submission.So I am writing a story for Niskan, a fawnling I am trying for. Here it goes.
Niskan
One day Niskan's mother was talking to him when she said she needed to go get something from the woods. Niskan asked his mother what she was getting and she told him it was a surprise. "It's ok dear, mama will be right back." She said. Niskan trusted she would keep her word and so just waited for his mother in their area.
Night was begining to fall and Niskan's mother still had not come back. He grab a stone bowl with his tail and lit a fire in it. He wondered out into the darkened forest and started to look for his mother. He noticed that it was very quiet in the forest tonight. "Where did she go?" Niskan asked himself. "She surely couldn't have gone far, she WOULDN'T go far, not with leaving me here." Just then he heard leaves rustling and stood completely still, trying to figure out where to noise was coming from. He then noticed a faint glowing in the distance. "Is that my mother?" he wonder by SPACEP00DLE

  Beserkir - Oakfern Fawn ContestName: Berserkir
Name Meaning:  A Beserkir in Old Norse was a Shamanic Warrior, said to be able to take the shape of a bear or wolf in battle. The word Beserkir itself means ‘Bear Skin.’ I chose this name because I feel it epitomizes the type of character I want this colt to grow into. A Shaman and a warrior. A protector who is wise but also fierce. I also feel it incorporates the names of Berach and Isk somewhat well too. It just feels like a nice strong name.  If you prefer a name from your list, I would go with Berisk as a second choice! ^_^
