Hello lovely people!
So, you may know of an old gent named Lord Gerald - he's the Lord of Families, aka the Genealogy Lord, and he is very very ancient.
In order that there's still a Lord of Families in fawnlings once he inevitably snuffs it, I am auctioning off his oldest son and heir, Lord Adalbert
The character
Lord Adalbert
- Adalbert (or 'Bertie' to his father, family and childhood friends and acquaintances) is a traditional Glenmore lord, albeit one with the attitude of a servant!
- He has no official appearance, but should be dark in colour
- He was born in year 740 of the New Age and is 24 years old currently, so is in his late middle age
- He currently tends the 'Tree of Princesses', as is the duty of the Heir of Families (for more info on the Tree of Princesses/Tree of Kings and the role of the Lord of Families, check out Gerald's profile)
- He has several children - his oldest is a stag called Yarrow, whom he is training to follow in his hoofprints

How to apply
- Complete a character profile using the form found on the Fawnlings 'How to Get a Fawnling' journal and submit it to your dA sta.sh
- Either write an RP for Adalbert or create an image of him and submit this to your dA sta.sh
- Submit those two things to me via this snazzy form before 29th April 2016
Hints and tips
- Adalbert is a kind of 'servant lord' - keeping his personality and history in keeping with that would be a bonus
- Quality always wins over quantity
There's no need to go into every minute detail of his personality or history - a well thought out, concisely written profile will always win me over 
- Remember, Lords of families will never be given a Princess as a mate, so if that's what you're looking for then Bertie isn't your guy!
