How long have you been on DeviantArt?
ELEVEN YEARS. I had to check that. But that's a long time.

What does your username mean?
Someone called fred who is female. While I am female, my name isn't actually Fred (it's Rosie, for those of you who're interested), and the reasons for the name are lost in the mists of memory, because it's been my screenname since I was about 11.

Describe yourself in three words.
Patient, hard working, thoughtful

Are you left or right handed?
Right handed

What was your first deviation?

I still feel the same way about sunburns

What is your favourite type of art to create?
Honestly? Watercolour or acrylic paintings. I just don't really have a suitable workspace at home so I don't do them very often

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Woodcarving

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Mostly slightly surreal digital artwork

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
I just adore the incredible landscapes by Fel-X and for beautifully anatomically correct birds in slightly odd settings LisaPannek can't be beat

If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Tigglesaurus and I keep talking about meeting up and I'm sure we will at some point. I'd love to hang out with mule-deer as well, but it'll be slightly harder given that she's on another continent

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
Many deviants have made my life happier. Tigglesaurus mule-deer Niur-Tarow oxpecker Cactus-sis are just some of them - whether they know it or not, they've made tough times easier and easy times more fun

What are your preferred tools to create art?
For preference - paper and watercolours, but mostly it's actually my laptop, my intuos pen & touch, and an ancient version of Photoshop

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
I love sketching in museums - but really the most inspirational place is my house just after I've got home, and the colours and light have all worked their way into my head somehow!

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
When the first traditional piece that I'd posted to dA in years got a positive reception I know this is a small thing, but I was incredibly wary of putting my traditional work up in my gallery because ever since I moved to digital, my digital things got a much better response.
